Code of Conduct & Terms of Use

Welcome to PocketRelo and its Discussion Forum. This service has been created to help relocating to and living in Finland. The Discussion Forum has been created to provide a place for sharing experiences, tips and useful information regarding coming to, living and working in Finland or other countries.

By signing up to use PocketRelo and its Discussion Forum, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules, terms and conditions set by International Fox Agency (later IFA) regarding the use of PocketRelo. You agree not to copy or share the information provided for other than your personal use. Commercial use is stricly prohibited.

You also agree to reserve discussions and shared files and content to that best suited to the medium. This is a great medium with which to solicit the advice of your peers, benefit from their experience, and participate in an ongoing conversation.

The Code of Conduct and Terms of Use have been established to secure the rights of IFA as well as the users, to encourage civil and fruitful dialogue and to ensure that every user feels safe and respected. Questions should be directed to our Portal Admin at admin@pocketrelo.com. 

 

Rules

PocketRelo’s users must adhere to the following rules:

• IFA has made PocketRelo and its Discussion forum available to users for the purpose of providing expert advice on relocating to and living in another country. The Discussion Forum has been provided for the discussion of related issues and experiences. 

• IFA is making the Discussion Forum available to participants for educational and informational purposes only. Users must rely on their own judgment with respect to all issues discussed. 

• Information posted on the Discussion Forum by individual users will not be treated as confidential and, therefore, users should not disclose any confidential, proprietary, or sensitive business or other information. In fact, since any information posted on the Community may be downloaded, reproduced, and disseminated without the knowledge of user(s), users must use extreme care when posting or sending such information. 

• Users acknowledge and agree that they (i) will not have any copyright or other property rights in or to information that they (or others) post on the Discussion Forum; (ii) specifically waive any such property rights; and (iii) hereby grant all users a license to use (including the right to publish) all information posted by them on the Community. 

• Related to the above, PocketRelo Admin or IFA does not waive any of its poperty rights or grant users the right to use or publish any information provided without acknowledging IFA’s rights to the information or in anyone else’s name. 

• Users agree to respect everyone regardless of their opinion, experience, appearance, gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability or other similar aspects.  

• Disrespectful or intimidating behaviour, comments, pictures etc. will not be tolerated. 

• Material or experiences shared by users must be their own, i.e. users must adhere to common rules regarding Intellectual and other Property Rights. 

• Related to the above, users may not post or distribute files, articles or other information subject to trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights, except with the express consent of the owner of the rights. 

• Users are prohibited from posting commercial messages or promotions, advertising, or selling goods or services unless permission has been granted by Admin or IFA.   

• Users must respect the privacy of the Discussion Forum. Granting access to anyone else except the registered user is not allowed. Forwarding user rights to anyone else than the registered user is not allowed. 

• All material, information etc. provided by Admin or International Fox Agency is property of International Fox Agency. 

• Copying or using the information provided for anything except the personal use intended by Admin is not allowed. 

• Copying or using the information provided for commercial purposes and financial gain by anyone except International Fox Agency is strictly prohibited. 

• Users are prohibited from using the Community for any purpose that may be illegal.  For example, the Community may not be used to solicit or disseminate information having to do with, or to conduct any activity relating to, illegal drugs, pornography, gambling, spreading computer viruses, software infringement, trafficking in credit card codes, price-fixing, illegal boycotts, or other crimes. 

• Admin will deny access to any individual who has not agreed to the terms of the these rules.  

• Admin reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without further notice, to remove any postings or other content that is not considered appropriate, is not consistent with these rules or otherwise is not in the best interest of the users, IFA or its partners. 

• Behaviour in breech of these rules must be reported immediately to Portal Admin. 

• Behaviour in breech of these rules will result in the immediate cancellation of the user account and ban of the person in question. 

• In situations of dispute the decision is left to the Admin.

The advice and information given on PocketRelo is based on the common practices, laws, processes and rules regarding immigration, settling-in and living in the country in question. International Fox Agency is not responsible for changes in any of the aforementioned. Advice and information provided by IFA is as up-to-date as possible and considered reliable as it is provided by the officials and experts etc. in the field. The views expressed on the Discussion Forum are those of the individual contributors.  They do not and should not be construed as representing the views of International Fox Agency.  IFA makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation as to the accuracy or sufficiency of the information posted in the Discussion Forum and assumes no responsibility or liability regarding the use or misuse of such information for any purpose.  IFA disclaims any responsibility to maintain copies of any information posted on the Discussion Forum or to assure that such information is deleted.  Unless specifically stated otherwise, IFA does not endorse, approve, recommend, or certify any information, advice, guidance, product, process, service or organization presented or mentioned on the Discussion Forum, save for information posted by Admin regarding PocketRelo or other services by IFA.

Amendments

International Fox Agency reserves the right to modify or change the terms of these Rules as it determines from time to time in the best interests of IFA and the users. All users are notified of any changes. Use of PocketRelo constitutes the user’s continuing agreement to be bound by these Rules, as amended from time to time. 

Acceptance of Rules

By registering as a user for PocketRelo, you (i) represent and warrant that you have read these Rules, (ii) fully understand the terms of these Rules and acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these Rules before signing up as user; and (iii) agree to respect and follow the terms of these Rules.
